Below this introduction are Internet links that are relevant to the book and that I used for research and to allow you to become familiar with some aspects of our government and in some cases some insight on my responsibilities.

You will find them very interesting and often disturbing at what is actually happening in our justice system in the United States. You may discover in time for yourself that we have turned into a nation bent of revenge more than justice. Whereas our founding fathers use to have a philosophy of rather having 100 guilty men set free before we would see one innocent man wrongfully imprisoned, we now rather have the philosophy of imprisoning 100 innocent men before we would allow one guilty man to go free, or simply put everyone accused in prison and let God sort them out.

As a nation we can not survive with a justice system that is corrupt and based on revenge. Revenge We have to take a stand and save the principles of our Constitution. Our justice system was founded on the very basic principle that you are innocent until proven guilty. Today once you are accused the government will do what ever it takes including, falsifying evidence, destroying evidence, creating evidence, lies and calculated manipulation of the press to publicly convict a man even before a trial. Have you ever asked why once the prosecution leaks out the details of their case to the press and the public they fight tooth and nail to have a gag order put in place on any more information before the defense has a chance to respond to public release of their information?

The current governor of California has seen the corruption in the California prisons and has ordered that department to undergo the first major overhaul first above all the other departments in the state. During his State of the State address in 2005 he said he was tired of every day picking up a newspaper and reading of yet another death in our prisons. He recognizes the corruption and power of the California Prison Guard Union. As a none career politician he is willing to take them on because he has nothing to loose by doing the right thing. While I was being held on $550,000 bail awaiting further investigation (and break down) I witnessed many rouge guards roaming our cell block, wearing their hats on backwards and acting just like a street gang showing their power on their turf, pushing inmates, even in some cases destroying inmates court papers, doing random strip searches, taking of photographs of men in showers and on toilets there is absolutely no privacy at all. What few guards there were that were sane could only warn us when the others would be on duty and their frame of mind and to be prepared for the worst. There was nothing they could do with out fear of be fired or worse if they reported abuse by the guards. Not once in 60 days I was in that hell hole did I ever see any guard above the rank of sergeant walk through. I do thank God that the cell block I was in was very peaceful, all the men got along or stayed by them self's if they did not like the fact that the Blacks, Whites and Hispanics all got along. I can tell you it frustrated many of the guards to no end. They tried repeatedly to separate us by race and to insight fights by telling lies. God was in that cell block looking after me and many others there.

One of the attorneys I spoke with since 2000 was the former District Attorney for a major southern California county. He told me point blank as a District Attorney it was his job to convict everyone brought before his office it was not his responsibility to find out if he was really innocent or not. He told me he instructed his deputy district attorneys to even lie in court, it was simply up to the defense attorney to convince the judge and jury what the real truth was. If the defense could not convince the court what the truth was then the defense team failed to represent their client properly. He also told me that a person in this country is only as innocent he can afford to be. Do you really want to pay your government to lie and maybe put an innocent man or woman in prison or worse execute them just so a prosecutor can put another win in his trial column? Or do you think they should be forced to tell the truth and nothing but the truth and seek real justice? Even when a man has been wrongfully convicted prosecutors are never ever held liable for their lies in court they commit the worst crimes in our society by abusing their power and walk away every single time free. We as a society we must impose penalties for these crimes against all society for their misconduct. I would propose that they simply are sentenced to twice the time of the ones they wrongfully convicted and I promise you that those left would make very sure what they were doing was the right thing for society and not for their political careers. You may ask how this has happened, ever hear the police, government officials, or even the press say that the constitution prevents the police from doing their job? And it protects the criminals? I know I use to hear that all the time and I am ashamed now to admit that I honestly believed those statements as well. My only excuse to that belief was that I once was a very highly respected government official, as not only my officer efficiency reports will point out, everyone I ever met would tell you I am a man of my word and it is my bond. I only spent time with the police and the government in general defending them and training them, not as a participant in the legal process. My knowledge of them was based on watching television news and what little my police friends would share with me. I also think I honestly believed what I was taught in school about how the justice system is supposed to perform. However from my experiences since 2000 I found nothing could be further from the truth. The plain simple truth is our founding fathers understood clearly what we fail to see today, and that is a government that has too much power will become corrupt and use its power simply to protect themselves and become even more powerful and corrupt in the process.

Did you ever wonder why or asked yourself why are their so many network television shows that show every cop as a hero? The prison industry is big business and is owned by very powerful corporations that in many cases are the very sponsors of these programs. Such programs are very good for business and stock holders as well. They need to show the police as always being heroes and the underdog. They want you and I to become just like the majority of the police in this country now and to think of everyone out of a police uniform as a criminal and worse they want you to see suspects as less than human. Every night of the week there is one or more police drama shows on. We are being brainwashed once again into believing that everyone that wears a uniform is above each of us and is no longer human or capable of corruption, abuse of power, or crime.

We must remember that all men are created equal, as such that clearly means that even the police and the government are capable of deceit. Too often we put the police on a level with God himself wanting to believe that they could never lie or harm us. Much like the German people in the 1930’s and even many of them to this very day would hide their heads in the sand not wanting to believe all the horror that the Nazi’s imposed on the world. Like the Germans, we hide our heads in the sand and not only want to believe the police are incorruptible and always do the right thing in all cases. The problem is basic it is our very lives and our security and we must believe in the powers appointed over us. It is even clearly stated in the Bible by the apostle Paul in Romans chapter 13,

¹ Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.²Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.³For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same.⁴For he is God's minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God's minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil.⁵Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience' sake.

As a Christian myself since 2000 I don’t believe that Paul meant for us to stand by and not do anything when our government is going in the wrong direction. Even when Paul was accused of breaking the law he used the government to defend himself based on his rights as a Roman citizen, he was entitled to a hearing before Cesar and he demanded it. I believe we have every obligation moral and constitutionally to take every and all legal means to correct what is wrong. We have the power to vote, we have the power to educate ourselves we have the absolute responsibility to do both and not let ourselves be told what the truth is by the news reports or what our friends may think. Our right to vote is a gift from God and the very basis for our freedom in the United States, it is in our voting that we can make changes and even correct what was done wrong in the past. With out a doubt the election of 2004 clearly shows we are a still a Christian nation and have a chance to make the right decisions at the national level as to who we would have represent us as a nation. (However, like every convicted felon in this country I am sanctioned for life and can no longer ever vote again and take that action personally to correct the wrong done to my family and I. The basic principle you need to understand is your ability now to defend yourself against wrong doing is based by almost 99% on your ability to afford that defense. The government is powerful and will do everything it can legally and otherwise to protect itself from accusations and it’s own liability from making false arrests and breaking the law.

Just a few of the facts that led me to sign a false confession (more details will be included in upcoming chapters). The candidate for sheriff in my home county in Idaho that all the deputies were backing in 2000 was a retired Captain from the San Diego Police Department. In that year he was elected as sheriff. In 2004 he did not run for reelection because he was convicted of assault. Here are a couple of interesting links about one of the guys that the world trusted when he helped lie about me and harassed and tortured my children. You can bet he was working very closely with his former department in San Diego to protect their image. The Bonner County Prosecutor Phil Robinson has his own checkered past. This guy supported the arrest of my two adult children because they had nothing bad to say about me. The purpose was to force them to say something about me and the charges I was facing for attempted child molesting against a fictitious child. They seized all my computers and software and did a complete examination including calling in the FBI but found nothing to support the charges I was facing. So they resorted to torture of my children and even brought false charges against my son for assault. They took it all the way to trial because my son refused to say anything about me or play the "Let's Make a Deal Game" with the prosecutor. Of course the Judge through it out in the first five minutes because their was no real person to say they were assaulted. They arrested my adult daughter and promised not to prosecute her for a charge of smoking Pot that occurred two years previous if she promised to help them convict me and tell on her friends. She was convicted as a minor for the offense. The idea of course was to drain as much of my resources as possible so I could not afford a defense against their false charges on me. It cost my family thousands of dollars for their attorneys leaving pennies for my defense. The police in both San Diego and Idaho had to admit in court when it came to me they found no incriminating evidence against me in anything they seized but they were sure I was hiding something horrible from them. Even with two court orders to return my property Detective Howard Burke in Idaho and the County Prosecutor refused to return my property. San Diego in fear that I could take the data off my computer here and prove they edited the versions they presented in court simply destroyed all the real evidence. In fact they never turned it into evidence control and had it destroyed once the judge in San Diego ordered it all returned to me. Stating they know I am hiding something and they intend to uncover it and would not return the property no matter what. When my x-wife tried to enforce the court order in Idaho, Detective Burke said fine we will return it to you but then we will just come and take more things until you run out of money to keep going back to court. Detective Burke during his first visit to my home in Idaho in March of 2000 deliberately left a folder in front of my x-wife filled with false evidence then walked away while she read it scaring our marriage and relationship for life. I do realize that there are some people that will read this book and agree with the police when they told me they don't have to obey the courts or the law when they are investigating a crime. They have the power and the right to make it up as they go along. They like many others simply can't conceive that I could be keeping secret some of the most sensitive information this country has for it's defense and about many intelligence sources very much still classified today. Even from the police. Maybe these people like the police feel they should have access to the countries most Top Secret Information, even my own lawyer kept telling me that all information is to be declassified after 5 years and I must be hiding something else. Well that is not at all true. I am sworn to keep what I know secret until the President declassifies it.

If you can believe that a man in a North Viet Nam or North Korean POW camp could sign a false confession in order to stop his personal torture how hard is it to accept that I would sign a false confession to stop the false charges and torture of my own children and the compromise of national security? The authorities forced both of my daughters to drop out of High School because of their continuous questioning about how many times I molested them, exposed myself to them and so on. None of which ever happened. The torture they put my 14 year old daughter through led to her attempting suicide twice for what they had done to her family. Questioning Nothing did ever happen to a single child ever in my life. The fact is that my home was known as a safe zone and we took in many children. My home was full of my children and others all the time because often they felt safer there than anywhere else. The problem is that after the massive publicity about me and my White House duties during an election year when the conservatives would do anything to anyone to keep Al Gore from becoming President. The police in both states were forced to take any and all actions to protect their self's and the public from civil and criminal charges. The media, the police and the school officials are fully to blame for my daughters dropping out of school and the youngest attempts at suicide, for continuing to question them, for simply not accepting the evidence they found about me, the answers from my children, the lie detector tests I was forced to endure, and the expert evidence from their own shrinks. They also refused to even gather all the background checks done on me by the FBI, the Department of Defense, and the Secret Service from the time I was 14 years old. Those background checks included every single month of my life and would prove by dozens of federal agents that did the background checks that there was nothing in my background investigations that would prove anything other than I had a spotless record and never hurt anyone in my life and that I never lied. They would have to defend the 3 police in San Diego and the Sheriff's Department in Idaho against the findings of over 3 dozen federal officers that covered my entire life from the time I was 14.

Quite simply my family and I are "Collateral Damage" in a war against child molesters and an effort from the police in San Diego and the would be sheriff in Bonner County from civil charges or worse to uncover the US secrets I still hold in my head today. In some ways the joke is all on them and the US Government officials that abandoned me. You see they still have in their custody all my travel records and White House notes and emails that could help them locate Top Secret Relocation centers for the President of the United States. I never kept anything classified but all together in the hands of people like those in Idaho many relocation centers now may be compromised. In the old days they would have been guilty of attempted treason to force a federal officer to disclose Top Secret information. Now like Robert Hanssen these men are only out to protect their own at any cost even hundreds of billions of federal tax dollars. Robert Hanssen sold out many secrets at a cost of billions of dollars. He was one of FBI heroes that so many people believe are above the law and could never lie. I have sacrificed everything I owned, my family, and everything people knew to be true about me to protect these and many other special access programs. All because I wanted them to leave my children alone, I was too broke to defend myself against a corrupt system, and I am sworn to secrecy no matter who the enemy is Foreign or Domestic. There were less than 2 dozen people in the entire White House that had the access levels to the "Shadow Government" that I had. In many programs the President himself had to approve the access list. With that kind of detailed information what would you have me do? You can't even imagine the pressure and questions I use to get while assigned to the White House from other military officers with in my own command for their "Need to Know" I kept lists of hundreds of sites and created two whole new programs after the cold war ended that were more in line for events such as 9-11. I never even told my x-wife of 22 years of the level of secrets and information that I was responsible for. The fact is that if anyone knew what I did for a living it would very likely put my family in grave danger to use them to get to my information. I never conceived even once what the police in this country would do to my children to get me to talk or confess. At least if I were a captured POW in a foreign land I could have resisted longer knowing my children were safe from my captures.

Many I know will ask the question why I am waiting to disclose the in justice to my family and myself. The fact is that if I go back on my false confession I face 22 years to life in prison for breaking the deal. I would immediately be ordered to jail to wait up to two years for a trial. I would be put in general population where I would never make 30 days with out being killed. Like the excessive bail of $550,000 dollars I was once held on the purpose of course would be to demoralize me even more, torture my family even more, and prevent me from forming any kind of legitimate defense. As many of you know and others can imagine they drove wedges between my family and I that not even time can heal, if they are ever healed only God will do it. Once my probation has been completed is when I fully intend to publish this book and make the information known to the media, short of the Top Secret details I am still very aware of. As an adult I also am fully aware of execution by police officers to protect their own from charges of miss conduct and breaking the law.

Maybe unknown to you is the fact that once a defendant has made a choice to accept a let's make a deal plea, there are agencies out there that you must pay to learn how to act and sound guilty. You see they can't keep an innocent man sounding guilty for a judge to accept his plea until he has been properly coached. So while still in the San Diego Jail, my lawyer hired one of these agencies at a cost of nearly $2,000 dollars to coach me and train me on how to sound guilty for the judge and probation. For probation purposes it was to help them know that you were no longer a threat and that you were willing to accept your punishment and in hopes that their review and recommendations would be in keeping with the agreement between the prosecution, your lawyer and the judge. The probation gets to weigh in at this point representing the police on what the appropriate level of punishment is and the judge then can make up their own mind based on the agreement between the prosecutor and the defense and the recommendations of the probation department. Probation does not take into account anything presented by the defense what so ever they simply review the police evidence and make their recommendations based on that and your one interview with them. Part of the reason to keep me in jail for 60 days was to keep me from mounting any kind of support from friends or family or to even look and act like a normal person. For the most part the prosecutor knew full well that I would be unlikely to receive any jail or prison time so arguing for excessive bail served two purposes, one to ensure I spent as much time in jail as they could get and two to ensure as much alienation between my family, friends, community and I as possible. I did get an interview with my agency during the time I was in jail and some phone calls to my brother to contact as many of my friends and family as possible with as little information about them that I could remember. I later learned from my lawyer that neither the judge or I got copies of all the statements because it would be over kill to present all the support statements that I got. The day I accepted the plea bargain and was sentenced was 1 August 2000. The hearing for me was delayed by nearly 30 minutes as the judge once again had the prosecutor and my lawyer in her chambers. Nearly 3 weeks later he told me what the subject of that meeting was.
